MakeSense makes changing the world everyone’s business.

We engage thousands of citizens and social entrepreneurs across the world to build local solutions for the Global Goals. We partner with both governments and companies to scale our best solutions.

To maximize our impact, MakeSense is launching a program on disruptive technologies. We believe that these technologies when plugged in with the right communities will solve the Global Goals faster.

MakeSense and its partners will host a series of events, online classes and workshops in Lisbon to democratize disruptive technologies and connect communities on the ground.

Raquel Vasquez - Forbes 30 under 30

Raquel Vázquez Llorente is a Senior Legal Advisor at eyeWitness to Atrocities, an organisation that works at the intersection of technology, law and public policy. eyeWitness has developed award-winning technology that authenticates and safely stores digital material for the prosecution of war crimes. Raquel has worked in conflict and post-conflict environments on a range of international criminal law and human rights issues, and one of her proudest moments was being admitted to the National Geographic Society as a Young Explorer for her field research on religious persecution under Pol Pot’s regime. A qualified lawyer, Raquel has been recognised in the Forbes 30 under 30 list of European leaders and game-changers for her contribution to the field of Law and Policy.

Adizah Tejani

Adizah is an experienced technology executive having worked within the digital technologies space since 2009 when she first began using WordPress. Fast forward to 2017 and she has built a unique lens while working in the technology sector in London.

She is currently the Director of Marketing EMEA at Token a fintech company from San Francisco. She was part of the founding team of Level39, a technology accelerator focused on fintech products. Under her leadership, the Level39 technology ecosystem grew to over 200+ member companies, delivered over 7 hours of weekly educational programming and technology partnerships.

Over the years Adizah has worked with a number of industry leaders and was recently named one of the top 100 women in London by City A.M in 2016.
